Barley Grass Fruit Smoothie

Barley grass has a very mild flavor and provides many nutrients and essential vitamins that are good for you. Mixing this into a smoothie drink is an easy way to get your daily vitamins in for good health, and a great alternative to add fiber, iron and calcium into your diet without the need for dairy.

Ingredients

Serves: 1

  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 1 banana

  • 3/4 teaspoon of barley grass powder (The one I'm using)

  • 2 ounces of water or choice of juice

Preparation


Step 1 Place the blueberries and banana into a blender. Add the barley grass powder and water or choice. Step 2 Blend for 3-5 minutes until all of the fruit is broken down and the power has completely dissolved and enjoy.
